October Special Edition Followup

Helping Neighbors In Need

As a follow up to my most recent special edition newsletter, I wanted to share a few ways we can help our community recover and rebuild after Hurricane Ian. You can read more about how to support our neighbors below. I have already made a donation to the Suncoast Disaster Recovery Fund and am thrilled that Michael Saunders will be matching the donation.

All My Best,

MSC - Helping Neighbors In Need

Dear friends and neighbors,
Our hearts remain with our friends and neighbors, especially in our southern region and coastal areas, who experienced severe damage and losses caused by Hurricane Ian.

We are thankful that all our agents and employees are safe despite some damages to homes. Most of our offices are open and our agents have returned to serving the needs of their customers while being mindful and supportive of those who are trying to get back on their feet.

Helping others is at the heart of our culture at Michael Saunders & Company and we hope you will join us in helping those who have a long road ahead.

To support our communities, Michael Saunders & Company is providing a match to the Suncoast Disaster Recovery Fund of agent and employee contributions up to $50,000. The Patterson Foundation is generously providing a dollar-for-dollar match to this recovery fund for every contribution made up to $750,000. Money collected will be going directly to those in need in Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte and DeSoto counties. Click here to help.

There are certainly many opportunities to aid in the region’s recovery efforts now and in the weeks and months ahead through community relief funds such as:

Gulf Coast Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund
Charlotte County Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund
Manatee County Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund

Please visit our MSC Blog for a list of additional organizations that are assisting with hurricane relief efforts.

We are incredibly grateful for the generous spirit of those in our communities and beyond who have come together to assist the many people who need help on the Gulf Coast.
